Paul R. Thompson


Paul R. Thompson has extensive management, business and real estate experience He managed production operations and special projects for more than seven years at Mobil Chemical and Tenneco (PCA) in the plastics divisions, and spent another seven years with Ernst & Young, in consulting services, most recently for the company’s executive committee in a risk management/finance capacity to evaluate and structure large deals ($20 million and greater). 

Paul’s real estate experience spans more than two decades and includes managing the demolition and site preparations for 1,600 parcels (Turner Construction); managing site preparations for a 12-home lakefront development (Honner Development); creating specifications, negotiating pricing and purchasing for multi-family new construction (Buckley Kreps); and managing the build-out of central-region office space in 23 locations (AT&T Real Estate).  Paul currently serves as a director on the board of the Beverly/Morgan Park CDC and of Neighborhood Housing Services of Chicago.  He received a Master of Business Administration degree from The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business with concentrations in Finance and Quality and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Western Michigan University.
