Langston Cove Phase III


Overview
Langston Cove is a residential development consisting of 25 two-flats in Chicago’s historic Auburn-Gresham neighborhood.  The buildings feature three distinct styles of brick facades and a range of upgrades, including garages.  Construction will begin its third phase this Spring with delivery in Fall 2007.

Langston Cove is another addition to the area, which has seen new development for some time now.  Other developments include SOS Children’s Village and Park Village, with 40 new homes at 76th and Parnell just a few blocks away. The Langston Cove two flats are part the City of Chicago’s New Homes for Chicago program so all buyers must qualify.  These award winning homes were designed by the architectural firm Smith & Smith Associates, Inc. also located in Chicago.

This current phase consist of 14 homes located on two sites.  The first is at the corner of 77th and Green Street, across from the Oglesby School.  The second is on the 7900 block of South Parnell Avenue.  Each two-flat has a duplex owner’s unit plus a ground-floor two-bedroom rental unit. The rental unit was designated to meet ADA accessibility standards.
