Pre-qualified contractors must meet the following specified criteria:

• Minimum of two years in business
• Ability to employ members of local trade unions
• Ability to process and submit Certified Payroll Reports
• Minimum of two years experience performing as a direct contractor or subcontractor for residential or commercial projects
• Proof of insurance at pre-defined limits and from acceptable companies
• Proof of appropriate licensure, if required
• Ability to pay permit fees, if applicable
• Classified as being in “good standing” with the Illinois Secretary of State at time of contract award
• Proof of MBE/WBE certification, if applicable
